Calvados Morin VSOP crafted from a unique blend of bitter, sweet-bitter, sour-sweet, and sweet apple varieties, offers a delicate flavor profile. Grown in the moisture-rich climate of Normandy, which is ideal for apple cultivation, these apples are used to produce ciders that form the base for calvados production. The spirit matures over 4-5 years, starting in new oak barrels with capacities ranging from 300 to 400 liters and later transferred to older barrels. Finally sealed in Limousin oak casks, this calvados develops a distinctive amber hue and subtle aromas. The underground cellars of the region, carved deep into limestone hills, provide an ideal environment for slow maturation under damp conditions, ensuring a harmonious and mellow taste profile.
