Churchill's Late Bottled Vintage Port crafted from a blend of indigenous Portuguese grape varieties is a premium red sweet fortified wine. This vintage is sourced from Class A vineyards in Douro and each harvest possesses unique characteristics and aging potential. The production follows traditional methods, with grapes crushed by foot in granite lagares. After fermentation, young port wines are carefully tasted, selected, and blended before aging for four years in large oak casks to mellow the tannins while preserving its full, fruity flavor. After maturing, the unfiltered wine is bottled and aged further under temperature-controlled cellars. LBBV can be stored for 5-10 years. Founded in 1981, Churchill's Graham has become a leader in producing top-quality Portuguese port through the efforts of Carol Churchill, Johnny Graham, and his brothers Anthony and William, who acquired and restored three manors and several vineyards with vines up to 70 years old, including half classified as Class A.
